What is Chat&Craft?
Chat&Craft is a relaxed creative social in Telford. It’s an alternative to a standard coffee catch up, where you create something while you chat and leave with it the same day.

Is it a workshop or a class?
No. There’s no step by step teaching or instructor led session. You’ll be shown what to do, then left to enjoy the conversation and create at your own pace.

Do I need to be good at art?
Not at all. Everything is beginner friendly and designed to feel easy.

What kinds of activities are there?
Activities vary by session and season. This may include painting, mood boarding, decoden cream decorating, air dry clay and other simple creative projects.

Do I take my piece home the same day?
Yes. Everything is designed so you can leave with your finished piece that day.

When do sessions run?
Most sessions run around 4–6pm, with seasonal editions and term time sessions added throughout the year.

Can I come on my own?
Yes, depending on availability. There will also be dedicated sessions for solo guests who want to meet new people.

Will there be date nights or singles events?
Yes. Some sessions will be designed for couples, and others for singles who want to meet in a relaxed setting.

Do you offer parties or private bookings?
Yes, we offer private Chat&Craft bookings for birthdays, bridal showers, kids parties and small group celebrations.
Each booking is set up as a styled creative table experience, with everything laid out and ready to use so your guests can arrive, chat and start creating straight away. It’s slightly more structured than our pop ups, but still relaxed and social.

You can also book out a Chat&Craft event at the cafe if you don't have your own venue.

Can the experience be personalised?
Yes. Private bookings can be tailored to your group. This may include choosing the activity, adding a theme, arranging table setups or coordinating with the café for cake or food.

Can we just come casually with friends?
Yes. You’re welcome to book onto a session with friends for a relaxed catch up, or enquire about something more private.

Is food and drink included?
Food and drinks are available to purchase from the café during your session.

Where is it held?
Sessions take place at a café in Halesfield. We can also set up for private parties in your venue or home.
